16 Year Old Lies About Being Raped

Posted by Ronald D. Hedding | Nov 08, 2012 | 0 Comments

The girl who cried wolf may now face criminal charges.

On Tuesday November 6, 2012, a 16 year old girl called deputies claiming that a cloth was placed over her mouth and she was knocked out near the College of the Canyons.

She then alleged that she was taken to another area and raped by two men.

Raped is defined by California Penal code 261 as nonconsensual intercourse by means of threat , force, or fraud and is a felony that can reuslt in up to 8 years in prison.

Due to this reported rape, the police were then in pursuit of these two men the 16-year-old girl described. Law enforcement also prompted local school officials and parents to be on guard.

Oddly enough, the next day, on Wednesday afternoon, the 16 year old went to see the Detectives on the case and admitted to them that she made up the whole story. He reason was that she was late going home and she did not want to get in trouble with her legal guardians. She admitted to fabricating the whole entire story.

The case is under investigation and no decision has been made yet regarding whether charges will be filed against the girl.
