High School Teachers Facing 12 Felony Counts Involving Sex Crimes

Posted by Ronald D. Hedding | Aug 19, 2013 | 0 Comments

Summer Michelle Hansen, 31, a special-education teacher at Centennial High School, who was arrested in June was charged last week with 16 felony counts involving sex acts with five boys younger than 18 within one year. The allegations state that she had sex with five teenage boys and sent naked pictures of herself to one student and committed sexual acts with another student in the classroom moments after school ended.

The prosecutors allege that the improper and illegal sexual acts took place from May 2012 to May 2013 in the classroom, campus utility room, and in her vehicle near the homes of the students.

Hansen's Los Angeles Sex Crime Attorney has spoken on her behalf and stated that she is a victim of a conspiracy that is to be revealed and that she is innocent. Many parents and friends have also questioned the motives of the accusers.

According to Hansen, her phone was hacked and she was not the one sending naked pictures, text messages, and emails. Police have found no indications of her phone being hacked.

Hansen is charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, unlawful oral copulation with a minor and sending harmful material to a minor.

She has not yet entered a plea and can face up to 13 years in prison if convicted on all felony counts.
