LAUSD Administrator Arrested For Alleged Sex Crime Attempt
Robert Nagai, 48-year-old Los Angeles Unified administrator from Chatsworth has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to meet with a 15-year-old for the purposes of committing a lewd act.
Investigations also revealed that Nagai had an on going, inappropriate relationship with a former student.
Ironically, Nagai was a coordinator for the “Sexual Misconduct Training” workshop that took place in February.
Currently, he is an assistant operations director with district’s Educational Services Center West. He was an assistant principal at Hale Middle School in Woodland Hills, from September 2005 to November 2011.
Nagai was arrested August 2nd and booked into the Van Nuys Jail but was released the next day after posting a $75,000 bail.
He is likely going to face attempt to commit lewd acts with a minor and if investigations disclose that he has committed acts during previous incidents or if any other victims come out the woodwork, Nagai is going to need an extremely qualified Los Angeles Sex Crime Defense Attorney because his charges can have lifetime consequences such as sex offender registration.
