School Board Member Arrested for Sexting 14-Year-Old Boy

  • Published: September 28, 2011

A school board member of Ellicot School District-22 has been arrested for allegedly sexting a 14-year-old. The victim’s sister found the texts, after becoming suspicious after witnessing Stefanie Dickinson,37, hugging her brother multiple times.

Authorities believe Dickinson had been texting the boy since he accompanied her and her family on a camping trip to Lake Meredith in mid or late August. After the trip Dickinson allegedly asked the boy for his phone number and later went on to texting him that she wanted to sneak out of the house to meet with him.

Some text messages found on the boy’s phone said, “I just want u,” and on Sept. 2 they got more explicit. Dickinsin texts him saying, “Baby I will rock ur F****ing world!” In another text she says, “You can’t tell anyone about this at all because I could lose my family.”

The victim told police that he felt uncomfortable. The arrest warrant says that she would frequently come to his football games and “would always tell me I have a sexy smile”.

Dickinson is due back in court next week.
