During his arraignment today in Los Angeles, Forrest Miles Stobbe pleaded no contest to two counts of lewd act on a child and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14. said Deputy District Attorney Bradley McCartt.
Stobbe was a fifth-grade teacher at Queen Anne Elementary School. He is facing 16 years in prison for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old male student. The crimes were allegedly committed between Oct.31, 2008, and July 15, 2009.
He was arrested on Aug. 4, 2009, following an LAPD's Sexually Exploited Child Unit investigation. He has remained in jail with a bail set at $4 million. Sentencing is currently scheduled for Oct.6, 2011.
